Rozowy Slon (The Pink Elephant)
Day 7. Tuesday 19th July. Bratislava
Last day in Slovakia. Prayed round poorer parts of town with Peter and Alenka. Really good to see the non touristy parts of the city. Went to the International House of Prayer in the evening and had a really awesome worhip time and got to share what God had said to us with about 30 Christians, then we got to pray over them individually (with our own personal translators)
Left at about 10 and although we had only been with them for 3 days, we have made some very good friends.
Day 8. Wednesday 20th July. Krakow
Happy 1 and 1/4 year anniversary Zoe.
Got the relatively uneventual night train through Czech Rep on to Krakow, dumped our stuff in a locker at the station and then headed to Auschwitz where over 1.5 million people were killed during 1942-1944. Spent the morning walking round the concentration camp. Pretty full on. I thought I would come out feeling shocked and sad but ended up getting really angry that man could treat other humans so badly and how we must stand up for what is right today so the same thing does not happen. Jay has some pictures on his blog.
Spent the afternoon wandering round town centre and had dinner in pizza restaurant before chilling in yet another underground pub! The others are very excited about the good looking waitresses in Poland!

I was thinking that too!
I'm thinking of Zoe too much to notice and watching Jeff making a fool of himself is quite funny.
Hang on a minute while I take my fingers out of my throat...
xx
you asked for it.
